Join the NFA

Subscription Information

The N.F.A's financial year is 1 January to 31 December with membership subscription currently set at a modest $185.00 plus GST per annum. Members joining part way through the year will be invoiced on a pro-rata basis. For example if you join in April, you will be invoiced for 75% of the annual subscription and the full amount from then on. A charge of $40.00 plus GST will be added to each branch mailing list.

Members are also required to pay an industry training levy on the basis of:

  • $90 (excluding GST) for entities with up to (and including) three staff comprised of proprietor/s and /or salaried persons; and
  • $175 (excluding GST) for entities with four or more staff comprised of proprietor/s and/or salaried persons.

Complaint Inspection Service

Of importance to members is the availability of a complaint inspection service wherein for a subsidised fee, members can request that an inspection be carried out and a report produced.

The inspectors appointed are selected based on a set criteria that takes into consideration their technical knowledge, experience and years in the trade.

Membership Certificate and Vehicle Sticker

Financial members are provided with a membership certificate and vehicle sticker that serves to promote your membership as a member of a national body.

Privacy Act

The information disclosed by members shall be held by NZNFA (Inc) for its sole and exclusive use. The supply of such information is voluntary. There is no obligation in lair compelling such disclosure. Members who have supplied such information shall be given reasonable access to that information for the purpose of verifying, correcting and updating the same.
